I am Flor Martin, and I currently teach middle school Spanish at the American International School of Chennai. Next year I will be teaching high school Spanish, including IB courses. I have been integrating technology for a while, and I am comfortable exploring software and applications for, and with, my students. This year my school implemented a BYOD program, and although this is a great step towards technology integration, the diversity of devices in the classroom has brought up some challenges.

    David Garcia

Hola Flor, My name is David Garcia, I work and live in Thailand in a school called NIST. I teach Spanish language acquisition PYP, MYP and DP. We are a 1:1 Mac school. . I would love to explore different possibilities of collaboration. I am teaching Spansih B first year in the DP and my students alredy have a weebly page with their Spanish work. Maybe we could start from then.

Wow! You must be superbusy teaching all those levels. Next year we’ll be my first time teaching IB, I am planning to have my students create Blogs. My school uses Blogger for students’ portfolios, so it would be easy for them to create an additional blog. However, I’m flexible if whatever activity we plan requires me to use Weebly. Are you currently working on any collaborative projects?
